Q: How are points allocated to my account?
A: Present your carte joël card at the time of purchase. For Individual Customer Members every dollar spent, you'll receive one point (excluding tax, gratuity, gift certificates, deposits, and contracted events). For Corporate Members, just present your carte joël card at the time of purchase. For Corporate Members every dollar spent, you'll receive points (excluding tax, gratuity, and gift certificates) on purchases in both the dining room, as well as our private event rooms, and renting out the entire restaurant.
Q: How do I redeem my reward?
A: Every 250 points earned you card will be credited automatically with $25. Redemption of Corporate Member rewards intended for corporate use only. When you wish to pay with your carte joël card simply tell your server.
Q: What if I don't have my card with me?
A: Your server will be able to look up your account with your phone number.
Q: Can I give my carte joël card to another paying guest and have their points put on my carte joël account?
A: Yes. However, we encourage all customers to join and begin earning their own points.
Q: Can my spouse or family member use my card to accrue points?
A: Yes.
Q: Can my spouse or family member use my card as a gift card?
A: Yes.
Q: How many active cards can I have at one time?
A: You may have only one active card at one time.
Q: How do I check my account?
A: Your account balance will always be printed at the bottom of your receipt. Or email us at cartebalance@joelrestaurant.com.
Q: What if there is a discrepancy with my account?
A: Please call 404 233 3500 or email cartebalance@joelrestaurant.com.
Q: What's the minimum number of points I need before I can redeem them?
A: 250 points will generate $25 credit on your carte joël card.
Q: Do carte joël rewards points have expiration dates?
A: No, carte joël Epicurean Awards are issued on a lifetime basis. $25 credits to your carte joël do not expire.
Q: Can I return or exchange my redemption?
A: Once redeemed, carte joël rewards points are not returnable or exchangeable.
Q: What happens to the points in my carte joël account if I decide to cancel my enrollment or if you cancel my enrollment?
A: If you voluntarily cancel enrollment in the program or if your membership is cancelled by JOËL, all accrued points will be forfeited immediately. If you decide to reenroll or if your membership is reinstated by JOËL, reinstating previously accrued points is at the sole discretion of JOËL management.
Q: How can I earn points faster?
A: Look for bonus point opportunities. Frequently we will offer a promotion, event or service which will provide you the opportunity to earn bonus points for each dollar spent. Q: Are my carte joël rewards points transferable to another person's account?
A: No. You may give your carte joël Epicurean Awards as a gift or purchase gift certificates with the carte joël $25 credits, but you cannot transfer points.
Q: Can I increase my carte joël rewards point balance by purchasing additional points?
A: Currently the only way to increase your point balance is to buy JOËL products or services. Frequently we will offer a promotion, event or service which will provide you the opportunity to earn bonus points for each dollar spent. Please sign up for the weekly e-mail to receive personalized updates about double or triple point opportunities.
Q: Do previous purchases count towards my point balance?
A: No. Only purchases made after you receive your card earn points for award redemption.
Q: How long does it take to receive a reward?
A: Once a reward threshold has been met you have automatically earned that reward. For cash credit rewards, they will be loaded onto your carte joël card automatically. carte joël Epicurean Awards certificates will be mailed within three business days of earning them.
Q: Is there an expiration date for credit rewards on my card?
A: No.
